How to use this paycheck calculator
- Choose your pay frequency and enter your gross pay.
- Enter an estimated effective tax rate.
- Enter per-paycheck deductions (or convert from annual if needed).
- Review estimated net paycheck and monthly/annual equivalents.
Example
If your gross biweekly paycheck is $3,000, effective tax rate is 24%, and deductions are $250 per paycheck:
- Taxes per paycheck = $3,000 × 0.24 = $720
- Net paycheck = $3,000 − $720 − $250 = $2,030
- Estimated net monthly ≈ $2,030 × 26 / 12 = $4,398.33
